Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

"I know one woman who judges how alive she is by how sick she is. That is, by how many aches and pains she can count. She then keeps the aches and pains alive and well by continually talking about them to whomever she converses with. What she doesn't understand is that the more she talks about her aches and pains,  the more energy she gives them and the more she reinforces her illness."

~ p. 47 "Feelings Buried Alive Never Die" by Karol K. Truman

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D

I determined long ago not to complain about my aches and pains. No one wants to hear about them. Fortunately, I am currently pain free.

Here's the link to ours: http://www.ourstack.blogspot.com/2012/09/tuesday-teasers-3-non-fiction-teasers.html

This is the 3rd try leaving a comment--I hate that capitcha word thing!!!!!!

It's funny how that works! We're told that it's good to talk about things that are bothering us -- to get them out. But then we are giving them too much of our energy that could be spent on more positive things!
GREAT teaser.
My teaser is from A STOP IN THE PARK.
